At Shield Investigations, we understand that you are dealing with a most unfortunate situation. Hopefully we can assist you by providing the evidence/documentation you are looking for, in this case, the 'proof' that your partner is possibly involved romantically with someone), for legal proceedings, or just for your own peace of mind.


At Shield Investigations, we are experts at using discreet surveillance techniques to monitor the physical activities of a subject, and provide video and or still photographs, wherever possible, to document whatever a subject is doing, who they meet with, and what they do, over a period of time.


Of utmost importance to an investigation of this variety, and that which gives us the greatest chance of success, is for the subject of our surveillance operation to be totally unaware that they could be followed, or watched or anything of that nature. Please try and keep this in mind when interacting with your partner (our subject) as it will keep the cost down and significantly increase the likelihood of success as well and shorten the time it takes for us to get you the information and documentation you need. Of equal importance is to please provide as much identifying information as possible. In addition to the full name, please provide some pictures, as well as a thorough description. Please include age, height, weight, the vehicles he will be driving and plate # (if known, or we can get those details), work schedule or typical daily routine, and the specific days/times that you want us to focus on and that he cannot be accounted for. Also, if known, information and details about any possible significant other (both home and work addresses and places (gyms, bars, clubs) he/she may frequent.


It is common sense but important to mention, nonetheless, that we schedule the surveillance when there exists the greatest opportunity for something to happen. The more specific information we have to work with, the more we are able to keep your cost down to a minimum while providing faster results.


There is a 4-hour minimum per engagement, to schedule a surveillance. At the time of scheduling the office manager will send you a SquareSpace link to complete payment of the retainer.


We NEVER exceed a budget without prior authorization from you, the Client. Expenses that arise such as (and if applicable) parking garage fees, restaurant tab (if the subject visits a restaurant) , and the like, are typical of the possible added costs. We do not charge for reasonable travel (mileage and fuel) under 200 miles. If there is any other anticipated cost associated with an investigation, we will always contact you in advance to discuss it.


In addition, there is never a guarantee that surveillance will produce results, or that we will be able to confirm either positively or negatively what you suspect your spouse is doing, and who he/she may be seeing. That said, we will do our best to observe and document the movements and activities of our Subject. Our solid record of success speaks to that fact.


It should also be understood that it may require a day, or several days of surveillance to achieve the objective and for us to be able to clearly show in the form of video/photographs, that there is a significant other. At the conclusion of a case, you will receive a detailed report of surveillance (suitable for court), of what the investigator observed. Our investigators always stand by the product of their work, and avail themselves (if applicable) to testify in court in support of that work.


We are generally able to schedule a surveillance operation with as little as 24 hours advance notice. We definitely understand that our clients do not always have the luxury of knowing far in advance when they will need assistance. We try our best to accommodate requests on short notice.
